My very 1st try!

Well finally I am on the BLOG! It appears to me that I sometimes (actually most of the time) have great difficulty in communicating with my computer (or any computer for that matter). This is the 2nd or 3rd day and the umteenth (make that uncountable) time that I have attempted to become a registered blog-member--and I can really hear all you computer wennies out there giggling and trying to hold back the really big laughs in order not to embarrace me too much.

Getting invaluable (actually she did it for me) help from Carolyn, I am finally writing something. The truth is that I wrote something last night but it never made it to where ever it must go to get read by the other enscussions readers and my most elloquent and beautiful and well-worded piece is somewhere out in cyberspace--unread and unappreciated.

I will admit that I have had some trouble with the cyber directions, not knowing the actual computer-meaning of some of the terms. I also have trouble with Houston street signs as well. But knowledge is king--or is that cash. Now I know--and have written down in a safe place (on a scrap of old envelope under the pile of usless papers on my desk)--who I am in computereese and what is my password and domain name and user what-ever and now I can go in anytime I want and write whatever is on my mind, no matter if anyone else wants to read it or not.

Perhaps we should just click REWIND and from the top once more, I could say something intelligent--if I could think of it--and just come on like I knew what what was going on and what I was doing and you would never know the differnce. But what kind of fun would that be?
